Neon Draft
Neon Draft goes all-in on mood. Rain-slick streets, reflections everywhere, a synth soundtrack that fits the glow. It's not a simulation racer, it's an arcade one that wants you sliding through corners sideways and feeling cool doing it.
The control scheme is where it shines on mobile. You can choose tilt steering, on-screen buttons, or a swipe-drift option, and all three actually work. We stuck with the buttons and found the drift timing generous enough to be fun without being automatic. The graphics settings let you drop the reflections to keep the frame rate smooth on older phones.
Races are short, perfect for a quick blast. There's a career mode with sensible pacing and no artificial walls that stop you cold. Battery heat is the one caveat, so turn the quality down if your phone runs warm.
What we liked
- Three solid control schemes
- Generous, satisfying drift
- Adjustable graphics for older hardware
